Welcome to the Fabulously Unforgettable and Most Fantastic, Fifth Grade!
It isn't a secret that I am a voracious reader, a downright logophile, and a stickler for choosing better vocabulary words. It may be more surprising to learn that I am just as intrigued by the sciences, history, and mathematics as I am the arts.
One of my favorite sayings is that there is a fine line between "knowledge is power" and "ignorance is bliss" but I may be just as likely to tell students that "to have a friend you need to be one" or "in order not to fall for anything, you need to stand for something." Also, "everything is connected!"
We work hard in Fifth Grade but we don't just learn the curriculum, we learn about life!
